Why? Well he creates logos that help you stand out from the crowd. Logos that are memorable for small business. Big business logo requirements are often very different to small business. They require minimal words and colours. Whereas for small business you want something that stands out and brands your business with a feeling and represents what you do. This may involve a more complex design using multiple colours.
Logo design and SEO?
Indirect effect
Having a great logo may indirectly help your SEO by having people stay on your site longer as they are intrigued by your logo. It may also help people stay on your site longer if they instantly connect to the feelings they get from your logo and subconsciously feel more trust for your website.
Direct Effect
Many people name the file name for their logo “logo.jpg” However if you label it with your business name eg”Find-Organic-Delivery-logo.jpg” then you increase the chance of that logo coming up when people do searches in Google or Google images for your business name. If your business name is a keyword then you also increase the chance you show up for that keyword in Google searches. It also helps to increase the frequency of your business name on your website.
If your business name does not contain a keyword then you could put the Business name and the main keyword for your site into the file name. eg “Team-Green-Eco-Paining-Brisbane-logo.jpg”. This helps to associate your business name with the main keyword for your site.
You should also put your business name and main keyword into the alt text “Alternate text” for the image.
